OVERVIEW
The Interior Designer plays a key role in creating immersive and visually stunning environments that captivate our guests, in spaces ranging from dining areas, to our immersive gameplay arena, to customer support spaces. The Interior Designer collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to bring our creative visions to life. This is an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of design and create immersive spaces that leave a lasting impression on our guests.
A Level99 Interior Designer has honesty and personal integrity that is above reproach, prefers a joyful and positive approach to challenging conversations and situations, chooses humility over the need to "be right," and in all things acts as though they are the Owner and Operator of their venue.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop innovative and highly functional interior design concepts and studies to help with evaluating design alternatives that align with the overall creative vision of the Level99 experience
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of interior design elements with other artistic and technical aspects of the experiences
  • Create detailed interior design plans, including floorplans, layouts, takeoffs, and assembling choices on materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and artwork, while considering factors such as functionality, safety, and durability
  • Provide guidance and support to production teams during the fabrication and installation processes to ensure accurate execution of the interior design concepts
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source and select materials, furniture, and decor items that align with the creative vision and meet budgetary requirements
  • Present design concepts, mood boards, and visualizations to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and refining designs as necessary
  • Think high-level (strategically) to align interior design choices with our voice and concept essence, creating design criteria and success criteria to systematize our design process

MUST-HAVE SKILLS
  • Strong experience and proficiency of Revit
  • Minimum 3 years' post-collegiate experience designing hospitality/retail/restaurant projects.
  • Minimum 1 year' experience overseeing the design of restaurants or similar foodservice projects, with knowledge of health code requirements and restaurant infrastructure (HVAC and exhaust systems, kitchen equipment, etc.)
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar 3D visualization tools
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude
  • Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get into the details as a team player with a "get things done" proactive attitude
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which may include days, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to travel for a new venue, as needed
