Role Description

The Architectural Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Morristown, TN. This role is responsible for developing architectural designs and construction drawings for restaurant and foodservice facilities, ensuring layouts meet functional, safety, and aesthetic requirements. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed plans and elevations, collaborating with sales and project teams to understand customer needs, and refining designs based on feedback and site constraints. The Architectural Designer will coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to align design specifications with equipment, materials, and budget considerations. The role also involves maintaining organized project documentation, complying with relevant codes and standards, and supporting continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge in Architecture and Architectural Design to create functional, compliant, and visually cohesive spaces.
  • Proficiency in Construction Drawings and technical Drawing for producing accurate plans, elevations, and details used in project execution.
  • Awareness of Urban Planning principles to consider site context, traffic flow, and community impact where applicable.
  • Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar CAD/BIM tools) and fluency in reading and interpreting technical documents.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
