Job description

Are you a results oriented, self-motivated individual interested in a position that can make a difference within a well-respected company? Wixon is a growing and progressive manufacturer of custom seasoning blends and flavor systems. Located in St. Francis, WI, we have been blending innovation with a passion for service since 1907. Wixon has an immediate opening for Inventory Coordinator and Analyst in our Supply Chain Department.

This role is responsible for management of inventory levels of ingredients, packaging materials, work in progress, finished goods, and aging inventory to achieve optimum operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the appropriate theoretical inventory targets for Wixon’s sales demands.
  • Define gaps between theoretical targets and actual inventory.
  • Develop plans to eliminate the gaps identified.
  • Track specific inventory categories (ingredients, packaging materials, WIP, finished goods, stocking agreements, aged inventory) and identify deviations from targets and their root causes.
  • Implement actions to eliminate root causes and restore target performance.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based reporting tools and dashboards and routinely report on inventory performance.
  • Automate manual reporting processes where possible.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or engineering preferred, but will consider related Supply Chain experience with emphasis on working capital management
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and ERP system experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills with experience in a manufacturing environment
