The Role

The Restaurant Manager oversees daily operations, staff performance, and customer experience while supporting the General Manager. The role focuses on team leadership, employee training, food safety, scheduling, inventory, and cost control. Candidates should have prior restaurant management experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and flexibility with work hours. What You’ll Do

  • Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations
  • Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and service standards
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance
  • Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control (COGS)
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and operational compliance
  • Assist with local marketing and store initiatives

What It Takes

  • 1-2 years of Manager experience in restaurants
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Follow Smashburger uniform standards
