AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)
The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

L'etudiant doit s'engager a respecter l'echeancier de travail suggere et etre disponible pour assister au cours a la demande du superviseur.
Various responsibilities such as discussion groups, marking of papers and exams, office hours to meet with students, and proctor at exams.
The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested to do so.
Qualifications minimales | Minimum Qualifications :
Baccalaureat avec specialisation en criminologie ou son equivalent.
La priorite sera donnee aux candidat(e)s conformement aux articles 18.5 et 18.6.
BA Honours in Criminology or equivalent.
Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6.

Critere n 1 : Experience. Le candidat doit avoir suivi avec succes une formation Walls to Bridges ou ComPaS au centre de Detention de Hull ou au centre William E. Hay. Si le candidat a egalement exerce en tant que formateur lors de la formation des animateurs ComPaS dispensee au centre de retention de Hull en juillet 2026, cela sera considere comme un atout.
Critere 2 : Verification de cote de securite. La formation se deroulant au sein d'un etablissement securise, le candidat retenu devra demander et obtenir (avant le 1er septembre 2026) une attestation de securite delivree par les services de police afin de pouvoir se presenter sur le lieu de travail et exercer ses fonctions.
Criteria 1 : Experience. The candidate is required to have successfully completed a Walls to Bridges or ComPaS course at the Hull Detention Centre or William E Hay Centre. If the person also has the experience of having been a trainer in the ComPaS Facilitator Training that was offered at the Hull Detention Centre in July 2026, this will be considered an asset.
Criteria 2 : Security check. Because the course will take place inside a secure institution, the selected applicant will need to apply for and successfully receive (before September 1st 2026) a security check from police services in order to be present in the workplace and do the work.
