E-commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) organization is dedicated to building a safe, sustainable, and high-trust marketplace where every customer enjoys a seamless purchase experience. About the Role: We are seeking an IPR Protection Program Manager to protect the platform from counterfeit products, trademark misuse, and unauthorized sellers by reviewing brand authorization documents and enforcing compliance standards. This role leads and execute processes to ensure only qualified merchants gain access, mitigate intellectual property risks, and partner cross-functionally to investigate escalations, resolve issues, and improve authorization processes and controls. Responsibilities: - Responsible for the full-process verification of brand authorization documents and multi-level authorization chains, control merchants' access qualifications, and block invalid, expired, forged and circumvention-based unauthorized brand materials. - Establish a standardized brand qualification system that balances efficiency and credibility, and promote the sound development and sustainable growth of platform business. - Implement platform rules and category/seller entry specifications, maintain the compliance baseline, formulate differentiated access thresholds, and prevent counterfeiting and intellectual property infringement risks. - Coordinate with business, operations and governance teams, leverage internal and external resources, follow up on escalated cases, investigate abnormal account clusters, and achieve closed-loop disposal of authorization-related risks. - Track authorization management data and governance effectiveness, identify process loopholes, and continuously optimize authorization management mechanisms and systems, as well as review efficiency and full-traceability capabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - +5 years of experience in e-commerce/internet platform governance, IPR, compliance, merchant onboarding, or similar function is required. - Familiar with the onboarding rules for major e-commerce categories, brand authorization systems and multi-level authorization chain logic. Experienced in identifying forged qualification documents, assessing risks and detecting policy circumvention behaviors. - Strong end-to-end project management skills, including independent project planning, execution, progress tracking, and outcome evaluation. Ability to perform data analysis, identify trends through case review, and drive continuous process optimization and operational improvements. - Possess strong cross-departmental collaboration skills to efficiently coordinate with merchandising, operations and governance teams. Understand the platform's compliance baseline, balance business expansion and risk control, and formulate reasonable access thresholds. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in brand authorization, qualification review and merchant admission management at internet or e-commerce platforms are preferred.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $103360 - $209380 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
