Job description

The Operations Program Manager works with Operations management to develop functional objectives that support company objectives, and detailed work streams to accomplish these objectives. This role works with Team Member subject matter experts to establish the order of work, and the time required to accomplish the work. Additionally, this role works with Operations management to resolve constraints to accomplish objectives.ย 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Works cross-functionally with all functions at Kestra to develop, and manage work streams to accomplish objectives
  • Leads Design Transfer activities for new and significantly changed products to suppliers
  • Leads the Implementation of fulfillment and distribution processes with suppliers
  • Leads development and implementation of reconditioning and reverse logistics processes at suppliers and manages those processes
  • Responsible for quality, process improvement and execution of reconditioning of medical devices

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to be a self-starter, seek new and better methods, and work with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrates deep expertise in high-level quality systems best practices
  • Ability to collaborate within a Team environment and across functions
  • Capability to discern relevant facts and in turn, effectively resolve issues by making good decisions (compliance, quality, integrity, ethics, and critical thinking ability)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of Operations Engineering and Project Management experience

Preferred:

  • Masters in Operations Management
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management in a regulated environment
  • PMP certification or equivalent

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Indoor open office environment
  • Minimal noise volume typical to an office environment
  • Extended hours when needed
  • Drug-free, as per FDA regulations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage
  • Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequent computer use
  • Frequent phone and other business machine use
  • Occasional lifting required up to 20 pounds

TRAVEL

  • Occasional travel may be required, 10%
