Manufacturing Staff Accountant
West Warwick, RI (Hybrid Eligible)
$60,000 - $80,000/year
Full-Time | Permanent | Standard Business Hours

Are you an accounting professional looking to grow your career with a stable, innovative manufacturing company? We're seeking a Manufacturing Staff Accountant to join our finance team in West Warwick, RI. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you'll play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, inventory accounting, and continuous process improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities.
  • Maintain general ledger and fixed asset records.
  • Analyze financial results and investigate account variances.
  • Support inventory and manufacturing accounting processes.
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
  • Prepare financial schedules and treasury reporting.
  • Maintain accurate accounting documentation and internal controls.
  • Participate in ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional accounting and financial analysis as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Manufacturing accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
