What Your Impact Is

As a Consulting Director, Natural Resources, you'll be at the forefront of ERM's growth in the energy sector. You'll lead a team of experts, build trusted client relationships, and deliver innovative solutions that help our clients meet their sustainability and business goals. Your leadership will directly influence the success of major infrastructure projects across the region, from site selection to permitting, stakeholder engagement, and beyond.

What You'll Bring

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, environmental management, or a related field. Or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in environmental consulting, permitting, or impact assessment.
  • Proven success managing complex natural resource permitting programs (ESA Section 7 & 10, Eagle Conservation Plans, Take Permits).
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for energy and transmission projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to inspire teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and inclusive workplace practices.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and strategic regulatory navigation.
  • Familiarity with regional permitting challenges in the Great Plains and Midwest.
  • Track record of mentoring and developing emerging leaders.
