Job description

Hawk Automotive Group is looking for an individual to join our HR/Payroll team as part- time. The Human Resources Assistant will assist to ensure that the HR operations are managed seamlessly and within compliance. This will include providing administrative support and maintaining all procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Recruiting assistance with online job postings, reviewing candidates, and scheduling job interviews
  • Complete pre-employment screenings and onboarding process
  • Assist in the off-boarding process
  • Serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws
  • General administrative duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of experience in HR role or relevant internship experience
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills and mindfulness
  • Time management skill with ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Knowledge of payroll processing is a plus
