Temp-to-Hire Full-Time HR Associate, Chicago, IL Our client, a trusted provider of metal plating solutions since 1903, is seeking a temp-to hire, full-time HR Associate to join its Human Resources Department. The HR Associate will report to the HR Manager and support a variety of HR functions to ensure smooth operations and promote a positive workplace environment. This job is from 8am to 4:30pm with a half hour unpaid lunch and is located on the near west side of Chicago. Job Responsibilities Assist with ADP payroll and HR processing. Support talent acquisition and recruitment processes. Conduct employee onboarding and coordinate training & development programs. Provide guidance to employees on HR-related topics, including leaves, compensation, and conflict resolution. Promote HR programs to create an efficient, conflict-free workplace. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Support performance management initiatives and organize annual employee performance reviews. Gather and analyze HR data to provide useful metrics. Maintain accurate employee files and records in electronic and paper formats. Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and organizing team-building activities. Assist in ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Occasional Saturday work may be required, though rare. Job Requirements Associate or Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. At least two years of HR experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); willingness to learn new programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
