Firehouse Animal Health Centers is looking for Resort Attendants to join our team.

Position Overview 
At Firehouse, Resort Assistants (RA) are responsible for providing high quality care to our boarding guests and clients while maintaining a friendly and efficient work environment for our team. This role is great for candidates looking for gain more experience in pet care. You will report to the resort leadership team – Resort Supervisor, Hospital Manager, and Medical Director. Your work will support your peers, leadership team, resort, and hospital goals.   
Responsibilities 
Resort Attendants are responsible for the following. This list may be revised at any time and additional duties not listed here may be assigned as needed.  
   Pet Care: 
  • Ensure that pets are always safe  
  • Provide daily walks and play time for individual pets that cannot play with other dogs  
  • Learn how to supervise and monitor behaviors in play yard while pets play together in groups 
  • Administer medication as needed  
  • Provide daily meals and monitor appetite  
  • Collect a daily weight  
  • Ensure pet areas are cleaned and sanitized properly  
  • Maintaining pet dishes and laundry  
  • Conducting baths and nail trim services  
Client Care:  
  • Escort pets to their suites during check-in  
  • Foster an educational experience for the client about their pet  
  • Provide exemplary communication and customer service 
  • Explain daily schedules and resort options to clients  
  • Conduct follow up correspondence with clients during a pet’s stay 
  • Ensure facility is clean and organized  
Clerical Skills:  
  • Maintain accurate pet records (including daily weights)  
  • Communicate with clients by call/text  
  • Respond to company email in a professional, timely manner 
  • Prepare and process emails  
  • Utilize our two- way messaging system to communicate to clients  
  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas of resort 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
