Position Summary
The Sea Pines Resort is seeking an experienced and engaging Beach Yoga Instructor to lead group yoga sessions in a serene oceanfront setting during the summer season. This role is ideal for a wellness professional who is passionate about creating meaningful guest experiences while delivering safe, inclusive, and rejuvenating classes for participants of all ages and ability levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead scheduled Beach Yoga classes that are safe, engaging, and tailored to a diverse group of participants
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests, members, and visitors
• Provide clear instruction, modifications, and guidance to accommodate varying skill levels
• Ensure all sessions align with the resort's commitment to exceptional service and guest satisfaction
• Arrive prepared and on time, with all necessary equipment and class structure planned
• Maintain awareness of environmental conditions (weather, tides, safety considerations) to ensure a safe experience
• Foster positive guest interactions, reflecting the resort's high standards of hospitality
Qualifications & Requirements
• Current Yoga Instructor Certification (RYT or equivalent preferred)
• Valid liability insurance (required)
• Demonstrated experience teaching group yoga classes
• Ability to instruct participants of all ages and fitness levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
• CPR/AED certification preferred
