What You'll Be Doing
As an RVT, you will play an essential role in patient care and medical procedures, including:
  • IV catheter placement
  • Venipuncture and sample collection
  • Surgical preparation and support
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dental prophylaxis
  • Dental radiography
  • Patient treatments and nursing care
  • Client education and communication
  • Laboratory diagnostics
  • Fear Free patient handling whenever possible
Qualifications
Required
  • Registered Veterinary Technician credential
  • Strong patient restraint skills
  • Experience with IV catheter placement
  • Surgical experience
  • Proficiency performing dental prophylaxis
  • Proficiency obtaining dental radiographs
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
Preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced general practice environment
  • Interest in continuing education and professional growth
  • Familiarity with Fear Free handling techniques

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
