Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Electronics Soldering Technician to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an Electronics Soldering Technician with education and experience in electronic fundamentals to work in a fast-paced electronic assembly and laboratory developing, building, and testing custom electronic systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work with engineers experienced in electronic design and testing to migrate capabilities from a lab environment to deliverable custom products.
  • Work with electronic engineers to design, build, and test custom electronic solutions.
  • Proficient with electronic schematics and soldering (hot air or iron soldering of 0201 size or smaller electronics components).
  • Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years relevant experience required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent desired.
  • J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications desired.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and production quality standards desired.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic production and testing equipment desired.
CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:
  • U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
