Job Description:

The Human Resources ('HR') Coordinator is a regular full-time, onsite position responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional looking to gain practice experience and insights into HR operations, offering strong foundational exposure to recruiting, compliance, and HR operations within a collaborative team environment.

We have an immediate opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join our team onsite in our Los Angeles, CA office!

Wage Scale:

The HR Coordinator is paid at a base hourly rate of $30.00 - $32.00 for non-overtime work hours, subject to all required deductions and withholdings, and not including the value of benefits under any Resolution Economics-maintained benefit plan. The HR Coordinator is eligible for overtime pay to the extent provided by applicable federal and state law.

Responsibilities of this position may include:

  • Supporting the onboarding and documentation process for new hires
  • Assisting with timekeeping management for hourly staff
  • Maintaining compliant new hire training records and administration
  • Assisting with maintaining employee records and compliance paperwork
  • ATS database management
  • Data collection and entry
  • Providing administrative support to the HR & Recruitment team
  • Assist in various HR projects and ad hoc duties, as needed

Job Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in an HR or Recruiting role or internship is preferred but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with HRIS, ATS and employee databases is highly preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good work ethic

Work Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or other related field required.
