Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our property management team! The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of property management or leasing experience, a background in affordable housing, and strong proficiency in ResMan software. This role supports the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations while ensuring exceptional service for both residents and prospects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the Property Manager with daily operations, leasing, renewals, and resident relations.

  • Communicate effectively with residents and prospects.

  • Utilize ResMan to manage resident records, applications, lease files, and financial reporting.

  • Support rent collection, payment processing, and delinquency follow-up.

  • Handle resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional, timely manner.

  • Help coordinate maintenance requests, inspections, and vendor services.

  • Step in to lead the office when the Property Manager is unavailable.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of property management or leasing experience (required)
