Job description

Farmers Insurance is hiring Bilingual Insurance Sales Agents to join our growing team! This position is created with long term financial growth and the ability to set your own schedule. Agents will be compensated for new sales and future residual sales that grow each year.

This position is developed for you to be your own boss and benefit directly from your success with long term financial income

Entry level candidates earn on average $60,000 a year with a $30,000 base and commission.

Our top earners make up to $150,000+ a year with base and commission in the first year.

Responsibilities

Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales

Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support. (support can include responding to inquiries)

Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day

Develop new opportunities with both existing and new clients.

Additional language proficiency besides English

Property & Casualty license is preferred, employee without a license must be able to obtain them within 60 days of offer date.

Potential agents seeking their license will receive training and online study guide covered by Farmers

At least 1 year of sales or client-facing experience is required

Life & Health license is a plus. Training and online study guide covered by Farmers

for agents who wish to acquire these licenses.

Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior

Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening

Must have strong interpersonal communication skills

Must be motivated and determined


Requirements
  • Valid Property & Casualty insurance license or willingness
  • Valid Life and Health insurance license (optional)
  • Ability to converse with customers in another language
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred.
