Primary Function

The Residential/Commercial Service Technician III responsibilities include but not limited to; customer site visits, servicing and/or installing equipment, repairing equipment, delivering salt and maintaining customer relationships.

The Residential/Commercial Service Technician III must have the ability to work on their own with little direct supervision, have great organizational skills, and be mechanically minded.

Responsibilities

Complete installation of point of entry and point of use of water treatment equipment.

Adhere to local, state, and national codes / regulations.

Complete Maintenance and repairs on residential water treatment equipment.

Deliver salt to both residential and commercial customers.

Record appointment data for every service call.

Utilize interpersonal skills to communicate professionally at all levels with customers and within the company.

Communicate with management, sales and customer service to resolve customer complaints.

Maintain service vehicle inventory.

Adhere to company safety and vehicle practices.

Take in salt deliveries and unload into the warehouse via forklift.

Basic shop duties such as cleaning and building maintenance.

Perform any other activities as needed or as directed.

On call technician, as required.

Qualifications

High School Degree required. Associate's degree in a technical related field preferred

Minimum of 3-4 years related work experience

Insurable driving record

Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted by equipment

Ability to utilize equipment to move up to 100lbs consistently throughout the day

Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including DOT requirements

Work in a variety of environments and temperatures (crawl spaces, attics, etc.)

HVAC/Plumbing/Mechanical related experience a plus

Proficiency with computers and programs, specifically Microsoft Office software

Proficient customer service experience

Ability to work independently and as a team to meet deadlines and goals

Education High School Diploma or GED in Related Field We Offer
