Job Summary

The Residential Housekeeper is responsible for the execution of established work schedules within an assigned area, in accordance with Facility and Departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
  • Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition. Must be able to identify and report the need for repairs, and unsafe conditions and respond appropriately in emergencies
  • Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
  • Performs special tasks, which may be chargeable to the resident upon instruction of the Supervisor
  • Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
  • Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
  • Makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled

All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community require that we ask about your vaccination status.
