Position Overview
We’re looking for a Residential Sales Associate (RSA) to meet with homeowners, provide tailored painting project proposals, and guide customers through our sales process. This is a client-facing, consultative sales role ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, enjoys being active in the community, and is driven by results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-home and virtual customer consultations using CertaPro’s proven sales process
  • Listen to customer needs and create detailed, customized proposals
  • Consistently follow up with prospective clients via phone, email, or text until the job is won or declined
  • Participate in local marketing efforts including door hangers, yard signs, home shows, and community events
  • Maintain and update activities and customer details in our CRM system
  • Prepare weekly reports and participate in goal-setting sessions and ongoing sales training
  • Ensure smooth project handoffs by communicating scheduling needs to the production team
  • Contact completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction and request referrals
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience (in-home sales or construction industry preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in technology (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, tablets)
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or Saturdays during peak seasons
