Administrator For Assisted Living And Memory Care

Administrator for Assisted Living and Memory Care Friendly Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Administrator for Assisted Living and Memory Care to provide leadership and operational oversight for Glenmere Assisted Living. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring excellence in resident care, customer service, regulatory compliance, team engagement, occupancy growth, and financial performance while fostering a warm, resident-centered environment where older adults are supported with dignity, purpose, choice, and independence. The Administrator will lead daily operations for Glenmere, partner closely with residents, families, staff, department leaders, Sales and Marketing, and campus leadership, and serve as a visible and collaborative leader within the Cloverwood and Friendly Senior Living communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for assisted living and memory care operations, programs, services, and resident experience.
  • Support quality care, service excellence, and compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations and organizational standards.
  • Lead, coach, and support Nursing Services, Case Management, Neighborhood Coordinators, and other resident service teams.
  • Partner with department leaders to promote teamwork, accountability, employee engagement, and strong communication across the campus.
  • Drive census, occupancy, resident retention, and customer satisfaction outcomes in partnership with Sales and Marketing.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the community and build trusted relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Monitor operational, quality, regulatory, and financial performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent Glenmere and Friendly Senior Living in leadership meetings, regulatory interactions, and community relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Gerontology, Nursing, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree and/or Registered Nurse preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, long-term care, or a related service environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with staff leadership, operational oversight, regulatory compliance, customer service, and quality improvement.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of assisted living and senior living laws, regulations, practices, and quality standards.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Compensation
  • The salary range for this position is $87,500-$120,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and organizational guidelines.
