We are currently seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, resident experience, leasing activity, compliance requirements, and overall performance of a residential community. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about building positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.

The successful candidate will balance operational excellence with a people-first approach, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and strong communication skills while supporting residents from a variety of backgrounds and life circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring a high standard of resident satisfaction and community appearance.
  • Drive occupancy goals through effective leasing, resident retention, lease administration, and timely follow-up with prospective residents.
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, renewals, resident communications, and property inspections.
  • Maintain accurate resident files, reports, compliance documentation, and property management records.
  • Oversee rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and financial reporting while supporting property performance goals.
  • The Property Manager ensures that the property’s maintenance needs are addressed to a standard of excellence, through work orders and preventative maintenance completed by the maintenance team and 3rdparty vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements, company policies, and applicable housing regulations.
  • Build positive relationships with residents by responding professionally to concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor property conditions and identify opportunities to improve operations, resident experience, and curb appeal.

Qualifications:

  • Previous property management, community management, leasing, or residential housing experience preferred.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of property operations, resident relations, lease administration, and occupancy management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication, customer service, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience with project-based section 8 and / or LIHTC program properties is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday
  • On-call responsibilities as needed

Expected Salary Range is $62,000 - $72,000 based on experience.
