Wound Center RN Position Summary
The Registered Nurse at the Wound and Hyperbaric Center is responsible for assessing and caring for patients with chronic wounds and employing advanced wound care modalities such as wound vacs, skin substitutes, total contact cats and other state of the art dressings. The Wound and Hyperbaric Center provides ample opportunity to develop relationships with patients and to act as their advocate by coordinating care both in the Wound and Hyperbaric Center and in the community. Education is a strong component to wound care in the area of Diabetes management, pressure off-loading, nutrition, and the application of dressings. Being an RN in the field of wound care gives you the opportunity to truly make a difference in the quality of our patient's lives.
Wound Center RN Position Requirements
  • Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must complete 40 hour Healogics hybrid/virtual certification within 6 months (It is scheduled M-F 8a-4p)

Wound Center RN Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday hours approximately 7:45-4:30.
  • No weekends.
  • No Holidays.
  • No On-Call required.

Wound Center RN Benefits
  • At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
