Position Summary: The Group Reservations Coordinator assists the Group Reservations Manager with processing and maintaining accurate group rooming arrangements for The Sanctuary Hotel and Resort Villas. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while providing professional service to guests and team members.

Pay Rate: Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resortโ€™s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate, or equivalent, is preferred.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, works well under pressure, and is detail oriented.
  • Good to excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Expectations & Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to and assists the Group Reservations Manager
  • Responsible for performing all duties associated with processing group rooming arrangements for The Sanctuary hotel and Villas.
  • Responsible for managing and ensuring accuracy of resort (Villas) and hotel group room reservations forms.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout all communication with coworkers and guests.
  • Work closely with members of Group Reservations.
  • Performs quarterly system audit for accuracy; SalesForce and Agilysys.ย 
  • All other duties, as assigned.

  • 90% work in a seated environment
  • 90% communicate via email
  • 10% communicate verbally with guests through phone conversation on occasion.
