Job Description
This role focuses on the preparation and analysis of research data from multiple extra merrily funded studies, meeting the study aims and goals. The position will work with the PI and collaborators, including econometrician, two preparing to conduct data analysis using multiple types of statistical programs that include tools such as Stata, SPSS, SAS, R, and Mplus. The position also involves providing technical support to the research team comprised of multiple PIs. The position will contribute to manuscript development, including at a Co. - authorship level, presentations, reports, and grant applications. Additional contributions may include assisting with tasks as assigned by the principal investigator.
30% Conduct data analysis using regression, structural equation modeling, and other statistical models and approaches. This will include evaluating model assumptions and interpreting and summarizing results under the direction of the principal investigator.
25% Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts/presentations. Draft data analytics sections for grant proposals for internal and extramural funding announcements.
25% Prepare data sets for analysis, including pre-processing, cleaning and archiving data. Developing syntax for data sets for use in multiple statistical programs; preparing the data by removing outliers and conducting preliminary analyses; pulling together all materials required to meet federal mandates for data archiving and submission.
10% Prepare tables, charts, and other reports. Summarize the results of data analyses in tabular or graphic formats. Covert data into tables and add descriptions for reports.
10% Provide technical expertise and general support to the research team. Provide recommendations regarding data formats of data collections such that they maximize efficiency and utility. Provide additional support to the research team as needed to meet team goals and deliverables for intermural and extramurally funded activities.
