About the Role

The key purpose of this role is to support our innovative Research and Development by assisting in the development and testing of cutting-edge solutions. The R&D Engineer will play a crucial role in creating mockups in the production area and engaging in various production tasks, including packaging. This is a hands-on role involving prototype construction, assembly, and evaluation, as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Own development of new products from concept through validation and implementation.
  • Design and engineer product solutions aligned with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct iterative testing to refine product performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product design with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ensure product designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Support transition of new products from development into production environments. Testing, Validation & Technical Analysis
  • Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and compliance.
  • Analyze test data and identify opportunities to improve product functionality and durability.
  • Support certification, regulatory testing, and documentation requirements for new products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and design records.
  • Perform root cause analysis on product issues and recommend design improvements.
  • Validate design changes to ensure performance, safety, and quality standards are maintained. Innovation, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Support innovation initiatives to enhance product offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve product design for production efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost while maintaining performance and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and materials to support innovation efforts.

  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
  • 3 - 7 years of experience in product development, engineering, or R&D roles required.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and product development processes.
  • Experience with CAD software and engineering design tools preferred.
  • Experience with testing, validation, and technical analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial product environments preferred.
