What is research program evaluation?

Research program evaluation is the systematic process of assessing the design, implementation, and outcomes of research programs to determine their effectiveness and impact. Evaluators use quantitative and qualitative methods to collect data, analyze results, and provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement. The findings from program evaluations help organizations make informed decisions about resource allocation, program modification, and future research directions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in research program evaluation, and why are they important?

To excel in Research Program Evaluation, you need strong analytical abilities, experience with research design and statistical analysis, and typically at least a master's degree in a related field such as public health, education, or social sciences.
