Job Description Lab Tech / Quality Associate Position Summary Responsible for conducting quality control testing, analyzing samples, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Qualifications High School Diploma (required) Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science (preferred) 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting (preferred) Key Responsibilities Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis to assess the quality and consistency of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products Inspect and test raw materials and finished products Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment Initiate, verify, and record corrective actions to prevent product nonconformance Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and research and development, to address product quality issues and implement corrective actions Maintain documentation for product development, equipment calibration, and test records for raw materials and finished products Provide technical support for products in the field Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment May serve as an internal auditor Training & Professional Development Attend training sessions to enhance industry knowledge Review and follow all quality manual procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Additional Responsibilities Provide staff support for various company administrative functions as needed Ensure compliance with safety, Responsible Care, and other applicable procedures Follow all quality management system responsibilities and procedures Demonstrate ethical and responsible behavior in all aspects of employment, including use of computers, handling confidential information, and maintaining professionalism in interactions
