About the Sales Development Representative:

MarketStarcurrently has an opportunity available for a Sales Development Representative to join us in our Ogden, UT location. Sales Development Representativesare responsible forengaging and qualifying new accounts. They will contact and build influential relationships with customers, sales reps, and partner contacts via phone and email interactions.

Location: Ogden, UT - Hybrid

What Will You Do?

  • Self-Prospect, research, generate, and develop semi-warm and cold leads, in addition to working leads sent by marketing (MQL's) in the SMB segment

  • Attempt reactivation of cold leads marketing leads in the SMB segment

  • Provide exceptional customer interaction through product knowledge expertise and excitement

  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene by tracking activities and updating records in a CRM

  • Manage a healthy pipeline and lead funnel via program tool stack and systems

  • Execute clear communication with potential customers via outbound phone calls and email

  • Create clear communication and expectation(s) with customers on next steps in the sales funnel, according to specified qualification standards and sales process to increase opportunity closure probability

  • Execute lead qualification process and framework. Strong ability to effectively qualify leads and move them through the sales funnel.

  • Achieve individual targets and contribute to team and client's overall KPIs

  • Manage a healthy pipeline and lead funnel via program systems and tools

  • Provide actionable insights to market trends, lead sources, product feedback, customer insights, and learnings based on customer conversations.

  • Proactively look for problems that can be solved creatively and present recommended solutions

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Proven time management and organizational skills in a strictly outbound sales development motion

  • Previous sales experience preferred, in similar roles, including elements of cold calling, self-prospecting, objection handling and customer service skills.

  • Must be determined to learn and open to coaching, with a positive attitude.

  • Adaptable in mindset and practice with a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Ability to work within a group and be a collaborative team player.

  • Proficient in basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and general sales tools such as CRMs.

  • Ability to professionally communicate and conduct presentations and product demos through both phone and email.
