A well-established law firm in Sioux City, Iowa is looking for an Attorney to join its growing team. The attorney will either focus on litigation or transactional-based matters depending on their preferences and experience. The firm handles a wide range of cases, but their primary practice areas are civil litigation and business law matters. They have built an excellent reputation as a boutique law firm in Sioux City and are looking for an attorney to grow their team. Candidates with direct civil litigation or business law experience will be given priority, but the team is also open to training the right person including new attorneys.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of civil litigation or business law matters from inception through resolution.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
