Job description

Job Title: Product Development Lab Technician Location: Irvine, CA Work Model: Onsite Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Compensation: $32.00 - $35.00/hr Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities

  • Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.
  • Work on special PD development projects as guided by supervisors; Strong laboratory and research skills: compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique and good record keeping
  • Gather and analyze data using Albert digital system and provide fast communications to supervisors
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or on their own and perform assignments with limited supervision.
  • Is hands-on and enjoys working with machines and tools, and coming up with new ideas.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and well organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong computer skills: MS office
  • Self-Starter; collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
  • Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet work deadlines
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences and Engineering; Polymer Materials
