SUMMARY

The Marketing Intern supports the development and execution of marketing initiatives that promote Chino Commercial Bank's products, services, and brand. Working directly with the Regional Manager, this position assists in creating marketing content, supporting promotional campaigns, and enhancing the Bank's digital presence.


The Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, content creation, graphic design, advertising, communications, community engagement, and brand development. While the position supports all aspects of the Bank's marketing efforts, the initial focus will be on social media management, content development, and promotional campaign support. As experience and proficiency develop, responsibilities may expand to include additional marketing initiatives.


The position of Marketing Intern must maintain compliance within audit, internal controls, security, BSA, and CTR standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Develop, schedule, and publish content for the Bank's social media platforms.
  2. Create graphics, videos, photography, and other digital marketing content.
  3. Assist with the planning and execution of promotional campaigns supporting Banking, Lending, and Merchant Services.
  4. Design marketing materials including brochures, flyers, advertisements, presentations, signage, and promotional pieces. 
  5. Assist with maintaining and updating content on the Bank's website. 
  6. Monitor social media engagement and recommend opportunities to increase visibility and customer interaction.
  7. Coordinate marketing projects and maintain marketing files, digital assets, and promotional materials. 
  8. Ensure marketing materials are accurate, professional, and consistent with the Bank's branding standards. 
  9. Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  10. Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
  11. Prepare reports measuring marketing campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.
  12. Assist with brand development and long-term marketing strategies.
  13. Perform other marketing-related duties and special projects as assigned.

The position of Marketing Intern is not responsible for the supervision of any employee(s); however, the incumbent is required to provide leadership, training and support to less experienced staff members.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging marketing content.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design software preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
  • Basic photography and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with management.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Current California driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
