This role drives the evaluation, testing, and integration of emerging endpoint technologies to support DHA’s transition toward Zero Trust, cloud-native management, and enterprise modernization. The Endpoint Engineering R&D Specialist ensures DHA stays at the forefront of endpoint technology innovation, enabling secure, scalable, and cloud-native device management solutions. By validating emerging technologies and aligning them with DHA’s modernization roadmap, this role enhances endpoint security, reliability, and mission readiness across the Military Health System. Key Responsibilities: * Research and evaluate next-generation endpoint management solutions (e.g., Intune Autopilot, cloud-native imaging, virtualization, and containerized application delivery) for enterprise adoption.
* Prototype and test endpoint security and compliance innovations, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), BitLocker, conditional access, and advanced telemetry.
* Develop and validate new enterprise imaging and packaging strategies, including cross-platform solutions for Windows, macOS, iOS, and mobile devices.
