Repossession Agent

RMS is seeking experienced and dependable Repossession Agents to join our growing team. This field-based position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Repossession Agents are responsible for locating and recovering vehicles and equipment on behalf of financial institutions while adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Locate and recover vehicles, equipment, and other collateral assigned by clients.
  • Conduct field investigations to identify asset locations.
  • Safely secure and transport recovered assets when required.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of recovery activities.
  • Communicate effectively with management, dispatch personnel, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations governing repossession activities.
  • Represent RMS professionally while interacting with customers, law enforcement agencies, and business partners.
  • Perform routine inspections of company equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of repossession, towing, recovery, or related field experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of repossession laws, regulations, and industry best practices is preferred.

  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
