About the Role:
The BI Reports Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful BI reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role works closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and ensure the availability of accurate and timely data.
Title: BI Reports Developer

Department: Product Development
Reports To: Director of Analytics Engineering
Compensation: $80,000 and up, depending on qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain interactive and easy-to-understand BI reports and dashboards using BI tools (Sigma Computing/Snowflake)
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights to support business strategies
Implement data visualization best practices to present complex information clearly and effectively
Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure dashboards and reports function as intended
Monitor and optimize report performance for improved efficiency
Provide training and support to end users on how to utilize BI tools and reports effectively
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent job experience
3 years of experience as a BI Report Developer or in a similar role
3 years of experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Sigma Computing, Tableau, or similar platforms
Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation
Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
Understanding of statistical analysis techniques
