Purpose and Scope:

The Core Sales position is responsible for sales of the company's products and services.  They identify, introduce, develop and nurture business relationships with companies within their designated territory.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops sales strategies for company products and services associated with designated customers/area.
  • Assists customers with product selection based on needs, product specifications, and regulations.
  • Follows up on leads generated by marketing activities, via telephone calls and/or visiting potential customers to discuss needs and provide product demonstrations.
  • Emphasizes product features based on analyses of customer needs and educates customer and sales team on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Completes job walks and provides quotations/bids.
  • Coordinates efforts with other internal departments (Parts, Service, Sales, Accounting) to process purchase orders, schedule deliveries, and establish new accounts.
  • Follows up and responds to customer inquiries/needs and provides positive, courteous service answering questions regarding product lines, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service, and credit terms.
  • Strives for professionalism, observing and complying with all company regulations and polices.
  • Maintains accurate and current customer profiles.
  • Provides briefings and reports on sales activities, challenges, forecasts, etc., to management, as necessary or requested.
  • All other duties as required.

  • Proven success with growing account revenue.

Pay: $75,000 Base + Uncapped Commission
