Job description

Southwestern Wire, Inc., a leading producer of chain link fencing & steel wire products, nationwide, is seeking an Unlimited Journeyman Electrician for work in manufacturing and industrial environments. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems for production equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial equipment
  • Run and bend conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
  • Troubleshoot motors, control panels, and production systems
  • Perform wiring, grounding, and panel installations
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards
  • Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications:

  • Valid Apprentice or Journeyman license (as required)
  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
  • Strong conduit and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of NEC and industrial safety standards

Preferred:

  • PLC and VFD experience
