Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Dispatcher to coordinate our daily transportation operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, know your way around Hours of Service regulations, and enjoy keeping freight moving efficiently and safely, we want to hear from you

Duties

  • Assign loads and schedule drivers based on customer needs, HOS regulations, and operational priorities
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with ports, rail yards, terminals, warehouses, and customers
  • Track driver Hours of Service (HOS) and ELDs to ensure safe, compliant operations
  • Communicate with drivers on dispatch instructions, route changes, and delays
  • Help resolve service issues, equipment breakdowns, and customer concerns
  • Coordinate with Fleet Maintenance on repairs and vehicle availability

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Logistics/Transportation a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of dispatch, transportation coordination, or fleet operations experience
  • Experience in port, drayage, intermodal, container, or rail operations preferred
  • Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, CHP, and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
  • Familiarity with TMS, GPS fleet tracking, PortPro, or Motive a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay calm and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay Frequency: Weekly pay

Employment Type: Full-time (First 3 months will be a probationary period)

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
