Job Summary

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will transport packages and materials throughout the facility. This position requires a dedication to safety and careful driving practices. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to maximize efficiency by ensuring that materials and products are always in the right location at the right time. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a Forklift Operator and an excellent safety record.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against sales orders, bills of lading (BOLs), and packing lists.

Perform daily dock checks on all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and undamaged goods.

Follow detrashing procedures and accurately complete detrash sheets according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Conduct 5S walk-thrus to maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout the warehouse.

Participate in monthly safety audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Manage warehouse email communications related to work orders, including picture requests, repacks, and other operational inquiries.

Accurately record and update inventory as requested.

Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders per company policies and customer requirements.

Complete and maintain repack work orders following SOP guidelines.

Coordinate with operations and customer service departments to fulfill customer requests and resolve shipment issues.

Maintain a clean warehouse and surrounding property, including sweeping, trash removal, and general janitorial tasks.

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, following all company and OSHA safety guidelines.

Report any damaged or missing items immediately to management.

Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Provide support for other warehouse functions as required.

This is a 04:00 am to noon shift.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is preferred

Valid forklift certification

High school diploma/GED

Familiarity with and ability to use industrial equipment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects

Excellent hand-eye coordination
