Job description

3rd shift- 9:30pm-6:30am

Description of Primary Duties for Open Position:

  • Cleaning of all areas of the plant including floors, ceilings, walls, gutters, and equipment, at times, using ladder, fork truck cages, lifts, and cat walks.
  • Dispense and use proper chemicals for each job.
  • Maintain footbaths and hand wash stations and fork truck dip.
  • Sanitize repack, dumper and scale room at changeover.
  • Sanitize bean room, warehouse. Tinnel area, tote area, and repack tools.
  • Keep drains cleared at all times.
  • Prep all cleaning chemicals and utensils for different jobs in different areas.

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications/Experience Required:

  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lb.
  • Must be able to follow lock out procedures on necessary equipment.
  • Must have ability to tear down equipment and reassemble it.
  • Must be able to properly use all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Must be able to work with chemicals and withstand the aroma of chemicals.
  • Must have a good work record and good attendance.
  • Must know how to use all necessary PPE and understand its purpose.
  • Must be able to work off from ladders, fork truck cages and cat walks.
  • Must be self-motivated and display logical thinking.
  • Must be able to properly handle the use, dispersion, and storage of sanitation chemicals.
  • Must be able to closely follow food safety and safety rules and procedures.
