Position: Assistant Maintenance Technician
Location: Carrollton TX
Pay: $23.00


Job Overview
ASAP Personnel is the most respected staffing provider in the apartment industry across Texas. We provide a full range of services including Property Management, Maintenance, and Support roles, operating exclusively within Texas’ major markets.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of assisting with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to support daily property operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair basic to moderately complex maintenance issues, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and leaks
  • Perform repairs to stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, and other structural components
  • Complete assigned work orders from resident service requests and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Accurately diagnose issues and determine the most cost-effective repair solutions
  • Turn vacant units in a timely manner, including painting, carpet cleaning, general cleaning, and other make-ready tasks
  • Assess repair and replacement needs in vacant apartments to ensure units are rent-ready
  • Enter occupied units professionally to complete service requests when required
  • Coordinate with the Lead Maintenance Technician for extensive repairs or replacements
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and applicable code requirements at all times
Qualifications
  • General knowledge of apartment maintenance systems and repairs
  • Universal EPA Certification required
  • Ability to handle refrigerant (Freon) and perform HVAC-related work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must provide own basic tools
  • Tools must include HVAC recovery equipment such as vacuum pumps and A/C gauges
