What you'll do
The Docusign Renewal Manager is a high impact position, responsible for owning and executing a portfolio of high-value renewal contracts in an assigned territory. Renewal Managers have wide-ranging experience and will use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. They are responsible for minimizing financial attrition, locking in favorable terms with our clients, identifying growth and providing insights to the business that improve future outcomes. Renewal Managers are responsible for ensuring maximum financial results for Docusign while strengthening partnerships with existing customers.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Renewal Management.
Responsibility
  • Develop and leverage customer relationships to improve customer retention
  • Uncover additional opportunities within the Commercial team's most strategic customers
  • Manage renewal process and negotiate multi-variable contracts
  • Drive usage and adoption and consult customers to increase successful adoption of the Docusign Agreement Cloud
  • Facilitate cross functional support to achieve successful product implementation
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve metrics
  • Demonstrate expertise within the vertical accounts managed
  • Foster strong working relationship with Account Executives to support and grow current customer base
  • Travel as necessary to foster relationships with customers in territory

What you bring
Basic
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in account management focused on customer retention and sales within the technology or software industry
  • Experience with Google suite

Preferred
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with project management and consulting with customers to deploy technology
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to analyze data to address customer situations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, specifically at executive level
  • Experience building highly consultative customer relationships
  • Track record of success and over-achievement of quota in past positions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $34.80/hour - $54.28/hour
This role is also eligible for the following:
  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
