About the Role:
As a
Director of Energy, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute enterprise energy strategy, procurement, and risk management.
- Lead and develop Energy Management team and standardize best practices.
- Oversee sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and commodity strategies.
- Provide market intelligence, budgeting, forecasting, cost reduction, and executive reporting.
- Support capital projects, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and infrastructure initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Legal, EH&S, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, governance, sustainability, and audit readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Energy Management, or related field.
- 10-15 years of industrial energy procurement/management experience with 5+ years leading teams.
- Expertise in energy markets, strategic sourcing, commodity risk, contract negotiation, and financial planning.
- Strong executive communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Preferred: MBA/CEM and heavy manufacturing or construction materials experience.
