Job Description

PSS LLC is currently taking applications for Rough Carpenters/Plumbers for a 2,500-acre Data Center project located in Hubbard, Texas between Dallas and Waco. This role will respond to work orders requiring construction, repair, and maintenance of temporary wooden structures, signs, barricades, and forms in addition to installing plumbing for temporary offices and restrooms throughout the worksite.

Job Type: Project based 

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Duration & Schedule: 2-year project duration; 5-6 days per week, 10 hours per day

Per Diem: $95 per day worked with 7-days paid if full weekly schedule is worked. Must live 65 miles or greater from the site.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, repair, maintain and remove temporary wooden structures such as ramps, stairs, walkways, handrails, frames for running cords overhead, etc.
  • Construct, install, and remove temporary safety barricades, guardrails, and temporary enclosures.
  • Construct, install, and remove temporary site signage, safety notices, and directional indicators across the site footprint.
  • Install and remove temporary plumbing systems for construction office trailers, including supply and waste lines.
  • Hook up water and drainage systems for temporary on-site restrooms and sanitation stations.
  • Maintain site utilities by inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing temporary water loops and lines
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for everyone on site.
  • Use basic carpentry and plumbing tools and equipment under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Properly maintain and wear PPE.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout each shift.

Compensation details: 26-30 Hourly Wage
