This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to conduct virtual consultations and therapy sessions from the comfort of your home office. The role is geared towards professionals who are adept at utilizing telehealth platforms to reach clients, ensuring that they receive timely and effective support. The position will involve collaboration with school staff and administrators, enabling you to contribute to a positive, health-centric school atmosphere.

• Conduct virtual, comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' emotional, social, and academic needs, drawing on evidence-based strategies to inform your approach.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy and counseling services to children and adolescents in individual and group settings, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness practices.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school nurses, and administrators to coordinate integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to each student’s well-being.
• Advocate for students' rights and assist families in accessing community resources, ensuring they receive additional support where necessary.
• Document all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes meticulously in electronic health records (EHR), thereby contributing to a comprehensive database that enhances overall clinical performance.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case management discussions, sharing insights that foster a learning environment focused on continuous improvement.

Your primary clientele will include K-12 students experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, such as social isolation. You will also engage with their families, addressing systemic issues and promoting family engagement strategies to reinforce the benefits of therapy.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon, with an unwavering commitment to ethical practice.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical social work experience, particularly within school or adolescent mental health settings.
• High proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that reflect both evidence-based practices and the unique needs of each student.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport among diverse populations.
• A strong commitment to cultural competence and social justice, understanding the impact of systemic issues on mental health.

• Experience working within a school system or integrating mental health practices into an educational framework.
• Familiarity with telehealth and electronic records management systems.
• Certifications in evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or other relevant methodologies.
