Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) | Alabama Remote

Full-Time | Remote / Telehealth
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Position

We're looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide individual counseling to clients in Alabama through telehealth. The focus is practical, ongoing mental health care. You'll help clients work through concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, and changes in their personal lives. The position combines scheduled therapy with the clinical follow-up that comes with managing an active caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions by secure video
  • Review client history and current concerns during intake and follow-up visits
  • Establish treatment goals and select appropriate counseling approaches
  • Help clients develop practical strategies for managing emotional and behavioral concerns
  • Revisit treatment goals as client needs change
  • Complete progress notes and required clinical records
  • Identify when a client may need additional services or referral support
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted Alabama LPC license
  • Master's degree in Counseling or a related qualifying field
  • Previous clinical counseling or psychotherapy experience
