Video Host/Content Creator – Home Theater & Entertainment (Freelance/Contract) Location: Remote or Portland, OR About Us: Digital Trends is one of the world's most trusted tech publications, delivering honest, entertaining, and informative content to millions of viewers across our website and YouTube channel. From in-depth reviews to helpful how-tos, bold opinions, and hands-on impressions, we cover the tech that shapes our world and the people who use it. Our YouTube channel reaches millions of tech enthusiasts, and now, we're expanding our hosting roster to bring even more voices and expertise to our growing audience.

The Role: We're looking for a charismatic, knowledgeable, and passionate creator who lives and breathes TVs, projectors, soundbars, and everything home entertainment. Whether you're a calibration geek, a cinephile chasing the best black levels, or just someone who loves helping people find the perfect TV setup, this is your moment. As a Digital Trends host focused on home theater, you'll work closely with our editorial and production teams to create engaging, high-quality video content that informs, excites, and empowers our viewers.

This is a freelance/contract role with flexible scheduling. We're ideally looking for one video per week, but we're open to what works best for you. What You'll Do: Script and host engaging content about TVs, projectors, sound systems, and streaming devices Bring your personality and expertise to every piece.

We want creators, not robots Collaborate with our production/editing team to ensure a polished final product Stay on top of industry trends and be ready to cover the latest news, products, and releases Occasionally appear in collaborative or panel-style content with other DT hosts What We're Looking For: A strong on-camera presence and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and confidently Deep passion and knowledge around TVs and home theater (including AV standards, specs, and setup best practices) Experience creating video content for YouTube or other platforms (editing skills are a plus but not required) The ability to self-produce content from your home or studio setup A consistent creative voice and a genuine desire to educate and entertain What We Offer: Base compensation per video, with bonus potential based on performance and sponsorships Access to products and early-release tech from major brands Dedicated sales team to help secure sponsorships for your content Strategic support from our editorial and production teams.
