• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the needs and challenges of each patient.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to individual client needs.
• Utilize solution-oriented therapeutic frameworks in counseling sessions, documenting progress meticulously while ensuring confidentiality.
• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, contributing to comprehensive care strategies that consider all aspects of patient well-being.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with tools and information that aid in the management of mental health challenges.

As an LCSW at Calvert Youth Behavioral Center, you will work primarily with youth and families facing a range of psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our diverse client base necessitates a compassionate and culturally competent approach, ensuring every individual feels understood and supported in their healing journey.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State.
• Minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, specializing in psychotherapy.
• Expertise in solution-focused therapy and familiarity with additional therapeutic modalities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team-oriented environment focused on client success.

• Experience working within a hospice or palliative care setting, demonstrating sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by this population.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for clinical documentation.
• Background in crisis intervention and management techniques.

The salary range for this position is competitive and ranges from USD 85,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
