Work Environment

This role will take place in a flexible remote setting, allowing you to conduct sessions and collaborate with families and other healthcare providers from the comfort of your home while ensuring accessibility for clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ psychosocial needs, focusing on their emotional, mental, and social wellbeing.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, setting clear, achievable goals that reflect their unique circumstances and preferences.
• Provide counseling services and emotional support to youth and families, guiding them through transitions and obstacles related to mental health.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary community resources and navigating systems of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, teachers, and support staff, to create integrated care strategies that promote overall wellbeing.
• Visit clients regularly to monitor their progress, conduct follow-up assessments, and address any emerging concerns related to their living situations and safety.
• Educate clients and families about relevant community resources, support networks, and holistic programs that enhance life quality and social engagement.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, treatment notes, and care plans using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in social work, adapting to evolving policies and ethical regulations to provide optimal client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves youth and their families facing mental health challenges. Understanding their unique experiences and circumstances is paramount to effectively delivering compassionate care. Your work will focus on creating a supportive atmosphere that empowers clients to regain control of their health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a clinical social work role, ideally within a community health, educational, or youth-focused environment.
• Deep understanding of social work principles, youth-related issues, and applicable state resources.
• Exceptional assessment and counseling skills, with demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing care plans.
• Ability to build rapport and empathize effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, essential for working within interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in utilizing EHR systems and digital tools for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with youth in educational settings or therapeutic environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with resources and services available in the Boston area that support mental health and community engagement.
• Experience in crisis intervention, family therapy, and conflict resolution techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
